I have wanted to post this recipe for quite a long time, but, life… Life is so crazy and hectic sometimes. Homeschooling, my own studies, cooking 3 meals daily mostly from scratch, and regular day to day life doesn’t leave much room for other things these days. But here it is, finally, our Hemp Milk Recipe. I make it 1 to 2 times per week. It is a great alternative for those who need a nut free, grain free, milk substitute.
Hemp Milk is great for those with nut allergies as there is generally no risk of cross contamination. Make sure you check with your brand though just to be safe. We don’t do rice milk in our home because of the high arsenic in rice, even organic rice. Don’t get me wrong, we still eat rice, I just try to keep it to a minimum. We don’t do oat milk either because of potential cross contamination with wheat and the high levels of glyphosate found in even organic oats. The same with oats we still eat them I just try to keep it to a minimum.
This recipe has really filled the gap for us. I hope the recipe serves you well also.
